Book Coaching
If you prefer one-on-one discussion of your work and feedback provided in chunks rather than as a whole, book coaching may be right for you. Coaching is customizable, sometimes akin to the guidance you'd receive in developmental editing or line editing, but parsed out in digestible, live sessions.
When you sign up for coaching, we will decide the frequency of sessions, determine the content to be delivered (by you) and reviewed (by me) prior to each call, and iron out the editorial parameters that we will assess and discuss. The purpose of coaching is that you feel empowered to complete your project piece by piece, while maintaining a holistic vision on the path to publication.
Single coaching sessions can also be helpful for breaking through a challenging essay draft or chapter, or for live-editing a tricky piece of writing. Please reach out with any questions and we can pinpoint the right editorial approach for your project.
Details
Rate
$100 per hour. Discount rate of $275 for 3 hours of coaching booked upfront (scheduled on separate days).
Process
Coaching takes place via Zoom. Rate includes up to 3,000 words submitted for review before each hourly session.
